Tyreek Hill sent the NFL world into a frenzy on Wednesday when he started posting his old highlights as a member of the Kansas City Chiefs.
Since Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa went down with another serious concussion in Week 2, trade rumors surrounding Hill have been a strong topic of conversation.
The reigning Super Bowl-champion Chiefs have some major holes at the wide receiver position following injuries for both Marquise "Hollywood" Brown and Rashee Rice, causing many to float the idea of a Tyreek Hill reunion in Kansas City.
Hill fanned those speculative flames on his social media.
“THIS CONNECTION WAS SPECIAL," Hill wrote over a photo of Patrick Mahomes and himself on the Chiefs.
Hill later sent a clear message to Dolphins fans — easing some concerns about his potential departure from the franchise.
“Hard Rock we coming back even stronger," Hill wrote.
The Dolphins are 2-3 to start the 2024 NFL season following Tagovailoa's concussion in Week 2. The team notched its first victory with quarterback Tyler Huntley at the helm in a Week 5 win over the New England Patriots.
Hill's personal statistics have taken a major dip since Tagovailoa's injury. The reigning NFL receiving leader hasn't broken the 100-yard mark since the Dolphins Week 1 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars.
The Dolphins will face off against the Indianapolis Colts at Hard Rock Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
