Tyreek Hill may have revealed which quarterback Titans will be playing on MNF

As they gear up for a Monday Night Football matchup with the Miami Dolphins, the Tennessee Titans haven't had a normal week of practice on the defensive side of the ball.

All week long, the Titans haven't quite known which quarterback they're going to end up facing out of Miami. The defense has prepared as though they are going to see recently-signed veteran Tyler Huntley, however nothing has been set in stone just yet.

Even Dolphins coach Mike McDaniel has done his best to try and play it all off, not giving the media any indication as to who will be under center.

Starting quarterback Tua Tagovailoa is on injured reserve, of course, after going down with a head injury. But, backup quarterback Skylar Thompson is also less than 100 percent after suffering a rib injury in Week 3.

So, the Dolphins have veteran Tim Boyle along with Huntley as the most likely options to get the nod on Monday night, should Thompson be out.

Well, after practice on Thursday, one Dolphins star might have let the ultimate decision slip when talking to the media. Hill was asked about the quarterback situation and who he primarily worked with during Thursday's practice.

"I worked with Tim Boyle," Hill told reporters.

What was even funnier than Hill potentially letting the decision slip ahead of time were the words that came next. He seemed to try and backtrack in a way, attempting to give more mystery to the situation and even throwing a non-quarterback out there as an option, too.

"I really don't know ... Tim Boyle's out there throwing. They even had (Jaylen) Waddle throwing man, so, we're in the process of looking for anybody who can throw," Hill concluded.

The Dolphins seem to know they're doomed against the Titans

In the end, it doesn't really matter who the Dolphins trot out there. The one thing Tennessee has going for them through three games, albeit all losses, is a strong defense. The Titans boast the NFL's third-best pass defense to this point, allowing only 139.3 yards per game through the air.

McDaniel has tried to keep things under a blanket, but he hasn't really been fooling anyone. At this point, the Titans think it's going to be Huntley, and it probably will be. Maybe Hill's comments were actually a smokescreen, to be frank. Who knows?

If the Dolphins are truly attempting to find "anyone" who can throw to try and put under center, though, that's comical.

Miami has to know they're in trouble and very well could hand the Titans their first win of the season, and on a national stage nonetheless.
