Meko Scott and I (Morgan Cannon) are back on the Pride of Detroit YouTube channel discussing the Detroit Lions hosting University of Texas wide receiver Matthew Golden on a pre-draft visit. In short, we breakdown why we believe this is simply Detroit Lions general manager Brad Holmes doing his due diligence on a top prospect in the 2025 draft class.
From there we shift the conversation towards some of the discourse surrounding Lions receiver Jameson Williams after some overreacted to the aforementioned visit from Golden. It wasn’t something that we anticipated talking about at this portion of the offseason, but the internet works in strange (and misguided) ways a lot of the time.
