You like kickers? Well, it looks like the Vikings got a good one
We’ve nearly made it through the breakdowns of the entire 2024 draft class for the Minnesota Vikings on Vikings Report with Drew and Ted, and in this episode we have a look at a pick that a lot of folks might not have been that happy with.
Yes, we’re going to take a look at Alabama kicker Will Reichard, who the Vikings took with the second of their two sixth-round picks in April’s selection meeting. You can watch the episode below.
Kickers are often overlooked in the grand scheme of things, even the ones who get drafted. Of course, Vikings fans know just how important the position is, given our less-than-illustrious history with big kicks in big situations. In Reichard, the Vikings have brought in the all-time leading scorer in NCAA history and a guy who certainly has some big game experience thanks to being a member of the Crimson Tide.
We also start out this episode with another movie chat, this time taking a look at another famous Alabama alumni, Forrest Gump. We talk a bit about the movie itself, specifically why Jenny is one of the great supervillains in modern cinematic history. She totally is, you know.
