Vikings Sign Bo Richter to Active Roster from Practice Squad

EAGAN, Minn. – The Vikings have signed Bo Richter to the active roster.

Richter, who joined Minnesota as an undrafted rookie this spring, has been on the Vikings practice squad and was a game-day elevation Weeks 3, 4 and 7. Per NFL rules, after a player is elevated three times, he must be added to the 53-man roster in order to be eligible on game day.

Tonyan signed with the Vikings as a free agent in May. The veteran tight end was waived during initial roster cuts and re-signed to the team's practice squad. Tonyan was elevated from the practice squad to active roster for Weeks 3 and 4. He signed to the 53-man roster on Oct. 3, had his contract terminated Oct. 8 and was re-signed to the practice squad the following day. He signed to the active roster again Oct. 19.

Through four games this season, Tonyan has logged 13 offensive snaps and 33 on special teams.

Update: At 5 p.m. (CT) Tuesday the Vikings signed Tonyan back to their practice squad.
