The Minnesota Vikings will go on the road to play their most hated rivals on Sunday, the Green Bay Packers. Most believe that wide receiver Jordan Addison, who has missed the last two weeks due to injury, will return in this game.
Minnesota Vikings: Jordan Addison “ready to go” vs Packers
Well, we can add Addison, himself, to that list of optimists. The Vikings’ sophomore wide receiver spoke with Alec Lewis (The Athletic), among other media members, on Thursday, where he was very confident in his status, as we get ready for the weekend. Jordan was short and sweet. “I’m ready to go.”
Jaire Alexander is so worried about Justin Jefferson, and for good reason. All defenses and defensive players in the NFL should fear JJ. But the NFL still has not realized how elite Jordan Addison is yet. He may not be Jets, but nobody is.
Most other teams, however, would salivate over the thought of having Addison as their WR1. Don’t believe me? Some of those teams would disagree, too. But by the end of this season, as long as he can stay healthy and out of trouble, the entire league will know how good the former USC star really is.
Remember, last season, Jordan Addison grabbed 70 catches, during his rookie season, good for 911 yards and 10 touchdowns. Before he sprained his right ankle in week one, he caught 3 passes for 34 yards.
As Green Bay’s defense consumes themselves with stopping Jefferson and Aaron Jones, don’t be surprised if Jordan has a big return to the lineup.
