Warriors Make Jonathan Kuminga, Brandin Podziemski Announcement on Sunday

The Golden State Warriors might be on an incredible run of form, finding their stride at the perfect time, but they've got help coming in the near future.

Kerr shares latest Warriors injury updates on Kuminga, Podziemski

Since the Warriors acquired Jimmy Butler at the trade deadline, they've posted an 11-2 record, with an 11-1 record with the star forward in the lineup.

On top of Butler bringing a massive impact, Stephen Curry has ascended to MVP-level play. He's been playing among the best in the league since Butler has been his running mate, which bodes well for their eventual playoff series.

Recently, the Warriors took down the Detroit Pistons in a tight-knit 115-110 contest, coming just after they had a 4-1 road trip out east.

With Golden State pushing to a 36-28 record and a No. 6 placement in the Western Conference, they're looking to get a couple of reinforcements back on the hardwood soon.

Against the Brooklyn Nets during the Warriors' final game of their recent road trip, Brandin Podziemski left the game after less than a minute of play with a lower back issue.

Jonathan Kuminga, on the other hand, has been sidelined for over two months with an ankle injury.

Both players have a return on the horizon.

Warriors made Podziemski, Kuminga announcement on Sunday

The Warriors are expecting the return of the two young players, but that won't come on Monday as the club is set to host the Portland Trail Blazers, who have been solid as of late, as The Athletic's Anthony Slater recently reported.

"Jonathan Kuminga and Brandin Podziemski remain out vs Blazers tomorrow night. Otherwise clear injury report for Warriors," Slater shared on X.

The Warriors will lean into players like Gui Santos to step up as Podziemski and Kuminga remain sidelined, as Curry and Butler will need support as they look to continue piling wins.
