Watch Aaron Rodgers complete perfect pass to Garrett Wilson in Jets OTAs as quarterback looks back to his best after Achilles injury

New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers was back to throwing at the first day of the team's organized team activities (OTAs).

Jets social media captured a moment during workouts when Rodgers slung a perfect pass to wideout Garrett Wilson, who sprinted his way in for a touchdown.

It was just the first day of these OTAs - which can only occur across a ten day period during the offseason.

But already, the signs are positive for Rodgers - who missed all but four plays of the previous season due to an Achilles tear.

Just four snaps into his career as a Jet, the quarterback went down and didn't return to a field last season despite his best efforts.

Without Rodgers, the Jets struggled throughout the season under his replacement Zach Wilson.

The Jets finished the season 7-10 and missed out on the playoffs for the 12th straight season.

But things are already looking up for Gang Green - with the Jets drafting prized offensive lineman Olu Fashanu out of Penn State with their first round pick.

The Jets open their preseason on August 10 with a home game against the Washington Commanders and then take on the New York Giants on August 24.

They open their regular season on the road on Monday Night Football against the reigning NFC champions - the San Francisco 49ers.
