Watch: Commanders' McLaurin makes grab to seal win over Cowboys

WR Terry McLaurin went up to make a spectacular five-yard TD grab with three seconds remaining to give Washington a 23-19 win over the Cowboys in Week 18 and ensure the sixth seed belongs to the Commanders.

That capped an impressive 11-play, 91-yard drive led by backup QB Marcus Mariota. Freshman sensation Jayden Daniels was pulled at halftime with nothing more for the team to play for than its playoff seeding.

Mariota was 15-of-18 for 161 yards and two TDs. McLaurin had eight catches for 62 yards and a TD. The TD was McLaurin's 13th of the season. According to NFL.com, he was tied for second with Detroit Lions WR Amon-Ra St. Brown with 12 TDs entering Sunday.

McLaurin is having a career year with his 13 TD catches. In his previous five seasons — all with the Commanders — the most TD receptions he recorded was seven in his rookie season in 2019.

The Commanders head into their first postseason appearance since the 2020 campaign looking to extend their remarkable turnaround season.
