It's the start of a new season for the Green Bay Packers, but oh how different the start of the 2024 season is compared to 2023.
Last season, the Packers were entering a time of uncertainty. They had just traded four-time MVP and future Hall of Famer Aaron Rodgers to the New York Jets and they were hoping his heir apparent, Jordan Love, would be able to become a franchise quarterback.
Nobody knew what would happen, but as it turns out, Love stepped up to the task and became one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL by season's end. The young and upstart Packers also made the playoffs, beating the Dallas Cowboys on the road and barely losing to the San Francisco 49ers in San Francisco in the process.
Now, at the start of the 2024 campaign, the Packers are in a much different place. From unknown to a brand new and open Super Bowl window, the Packers head into this year as a contender, and there's a ton of hype surrounding them.
Green Bay's social media team responded appropriately, releasing an awesome hype video for the Packers' season-opening tilt against the Philadelphia Eagles in Sao Paulo, Brazil:
This is a huge matchup for the Packers. The Eagles have been a Super Bowl contender the last few seasons and the Packers are looking to prove that they belong in that same tier of team.
A win against Philly would be a terrific way for Love and this young team to kick off the 2024 season and prove that the hype is for real.
