The New York Jets will now continue their 2024 season in a well-rested fashion.
In Week 13, the Jets (3-8) host the Seattle Seahawks. That comes after New York had their bye week off last weekend.
While this will be the first time interim head coach Jeff Ulbrich will lead the Jets out of the bye, how have Gang Green done in recent years after some time off?
Here’s the rundown of the past five years:
2019: Week 5 at Eagles
Final: Eagles 34, Jets 6
The final score was bad, but this Luke Falk quarterback-led team went into a 24-0 hole.
2020: Week 11 at Chargers
Final: Chargers 34, Jets 28
A close one, considering the Jets remained winless and dropped to 0-10 after this loss.
2021: Week 7 at Patriots
Final: Patriots 54, Jets 13
Not much needs to be said.
2022: Week 11 at Patriots
Final: Patriots 10, Jets 3
With under a minute left, the Pats had an 84-yard punt return to win the game from Marcus Jones. A heartbreaker.
2023: Week 8 at Giants
Final: Jets 13, Giants 10 (OT)
Not only did the Jets get the game-winning kick from Greg Zuerlein… he tied things as the clock expired. How far Zuerlein has fallen…
