The Boston Celtics secured an impressive win over the Chicago Bulls on Saturday, Dec. 21. They were led by Jayson Tatum, who produced a memorable performance en route to a 43-point, 15-rebound and 10-assist triple double. As you would expect, Tatum has been receiving high praise since his dominating showing, even though he missed Boston's loss to the Orlando Magic on Monday, Dec. 23.
Tatum has been more aggressive on offense this season. This time last year, he was embracing a complete role, slotting in as a metronome for the rest of his teammates. While Tatum is still looking to empower those around him, he's done more work scoring the basketball, proving that when he wants to score, very few players are capable of shutting him down.
During a recent episode of the "'How Bout Them Celtics?" podcast, hosts Jack Simone and Sam LaFrance discussed Tatum's performance and what led to his scoring explosion as the Celtics looked to bounce back from an earlier loss to Billy Donovan's team.
