Real Housewives of Beverly Hills fans were surprised when Lisa Rinna turned in her diamond. After eight seasons, and coming off a particularly dramatic one for Lisa, she resigned. And her husband, Harry Hamlin, couldn’t be happier. It sounds like life is a lot less stressful these days for the duo.
Harry Hamlin calls Lisa Rinna’s RHOBH exit the “best decision”

After Lisa left RHOBH, she took a moment to blame fans for her departure. “The fanbase has to know it’s because of them I left the show, and that’s something I think they don’t want the responsibility for,” Lisa previously stated. She also recently joked about how much money it would cost to drag her back to the franchise. I guess the figure is a measly $25 million. Well, no worries that will ever happen!
Meanwhile, Harry is reflecting on Lisa’s decision to leave RHOBH. “Best decision we ever made was for her to bow out after eight seasons, and she made that decision,” Harry told US Weekly. “But it’s a breath of fresh air at this moment.”
However, in Harry’s eyes, Lisa was the GOAT of RHOBH. But he has no desire to see her return to the franchise. The pasta sauce entrepreneur continued, “We were always a little circumspect about her doing it in the beginning. I was, for sure. But as a branding opportunity, it turned out to be great for her.” Harry added, “I think it thickened her skin a lot too, so it’s a very difficult show to get through emotionally. But she did it and we’re still standing.”
So, what has Harry been up to? In April, the second season of his AMC+ show, In the Kitchen with Harry Hamlin, premiered. Plus, he also hosts a podcast with Lisa called Let’s Not Talk About the Husband.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is streaming on Peacock and Hayu in the UK and Ireland.
