The New York Jets will face the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday in a battle for draft position.

What's 'Promising' About Injured Breece Hall?

Although the Jets' offense has struggled with consistency all season, they're set to have their full unit on the field on Sunday. Running back Breece Hall, who missed last week with a knee injury, is set to return against the Jaguars.

"He looks good right now, so it's promising," said interim coach Jeff Ulbrich after practice on Friday.

After entering the season with expectations to be one of the NFL's top running backs, Hall has struggled this year. Hall has a career-high six fumbles this season, which he spoke on after losing a fumble to the Seattle Seahawks.

“I feel like this year has probably been like the most trying year of my life,” said Hall. “Just having a lot of expectations and a lot of expectations for myself and just not having been on the successful side of that. I go work hard every day but no excuses for it. If I can’t take care of the ball, I shouldn’t be in the game. I’ve got to be better regardless.”

Although Hall has struggled, he still leads the Jets in scrimmage yards (1,093) and total touchdowns (six). If he is able to finish the season strong, Hall could gain some confidence that he could carry with him into a contract year in 2025 when he'll need to play his best football.
