Is anyone else still reeling from The Last Of Us ending and suffering a severe case of Pedro Pascal withdrawal?
Well, while we might not have any more episodes to binge just yet, but season two is on the way and it looks like we're in for a treat.
Season one followed Joel (Pedro) who was tasked with smuggling 14-year-old Ellie (Bella Ramsey), who is immune to the fungal infection which has ravaged the population, across the post-apocalyptic US all while avoiding the infected.
So what do we know about season two? Here's all the information we have about the highly-anticipated second series including its official release date and a new trailer to sink our teeth into...
There's going to be more gore

We can expect the effects to be even bigger and better in season two. One of The Last Of Us' showrunners, Craig Mazin, has said that the show is going to 'push the technology' forward when it returns.
He told Deadline: 'We're certainly going to push the technology that we use forward. We learned so much, particularly in regard to the infected and how to better deliver scenes with them
'So, we're just going to keep moving the bar up and up and up. That's kind of our call to arms.'
What will happen in season two?

This one is up for debate as it all depends on how closely the show's creators follow the video games. If we follow the logic of season one, season two should follow 2020's game The Last of Us Part II.
The Last of Us Part II jumps five years into the future and sees Joel and Ellie, who's now 19, living in Wyoming. Without giving away too many spoilers, let's just say one of the main characters who has become an internet sensation might not make it very far in season two.
However... this is a TV series and not a game and Craig isn't afraid of adding a few twists. He previously told Esquire: 'Neither Neil [Druckmann, the show's creator] nor I feel constrained by the source material.'

Craig added to Digital Spy: 'We will also take advantage of the freedom we have in television that wasn’t there in the game, specifically the advantage of changing perspective.
'So, we will use what we can use in a new medium to tell that story and we will go through the same process of adaptation. It's us again and there will be Pedro [Pascal] and there will be Bella [Ramsey]. And there will be blood.'
The cast: Is Bella coming back?

There's been lots of discussion over Bella Ramsey's role in the second season but it looks like she will be part of the show when it returns.
While speaking on the Happy Sad Confused podcast with Josh Horowitz, Bella said that when season two happens she'll be '20 probably' and 'be playing 19' indicating that she's still in the cast.
Showrunner Craig also told Entertainment Weekly that there's a plan to make Bella look older. He said: 'We know what we’re gonna do in terms of costume and makeup and hair, but more importantly, we also know the spirit and soul of the actor.'
