The New York Jets will look to keep their slim playoff hopes alive on Sunday when they host the Indianapolis Colts.
After entering the season with expectations of a deep playoff run, the Jets are likely one loss away from kissing their playoff chances goodbye. One of the players who fans hoped would have a breakout season is running back Breece Hall. However, Hall has been rather consistent so far.
Heading into Sunday, Hall gave an honest take when asked if he and his teammates were thinking about their playoff chances going forward.
"Yeah, it's definitely something in the back of your mind," said Hall. "But we're professionals. We know what we've got to do, the task we have at hand. So we're just going to try to continue to have fun, get better and win."
Hall continued, discussing his individual performances so far this season.
"The season didn't start off as well as I wanted it to," Hall continued. "I started off OK, but it is what it is. I'm not going to point fingers at anybody else but myself. I'm just trying to keep helping the team any way I can and make the most of the opportunities that I'm getting."
Through 10 games, Hall has 554 rushing yards and three rushing touchdowns on 136 attempts. He has surpassed 100 rushing yards in just one game this season against the Buffalo Bills, which the Jets ended up losing.
New York may need a big performance out of Hall against the Colts' lackluster run defense, who are ranked 30th against the run.
