With his distinctive features, Kober is one of the most recognizable faces in the TV and film industry. Often playing villains, Kober’s ability to emit a sinister presence has given him a leg up in being offered plenty of antagonist roles. Those who are regular watchers of General Hospital will probably be able to point him out as a familiar face — one attached to a number of other movie and TV projects.

Remy (New Girl)
Remy Is Jess & Nick's Amorous Landlord
As Remy the landlord in New Girl, Jeff Kober played a very different character than the one he portrays in General Hospital. Remy's first appearance is in season 1, episode 12, aptly titled, “The Landlord” when Jess decides to call the landlord to fix some broken things in the loft. Remy makes a very strong impression due to his intimidating presence and surly demeanor but soon warms up to Jess and Nick — although maybe a bit too much. Before they know it, the roommates are playing a game of chicken when Remy invites them to have a threesome.
Rack (Buffy the Vampire Slayer)
A Magic Dealer Who Got In Dark Willow's Crosshairs
Jeff Kober is an actor who's played multiple characters in Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Prior to his appearance as Rack, he also played vampire Zachary Kralik in season 3, episode 12, "Helpless".
Already abusing her powers, Willow soon became addicted to the magic provided by Rack. She hit rock bottom after she got Dawn into a serious car accident while high on his magic. But this wasn't the last of Rack on the show. After Warren Mears failed to kill Buffy, he went to Rack for magical protection.
The warlock agreed but warned Warren that Willow was the one he should be afraid of — especially because Warren accidentally killed Willow's girlfriend, Tara, when he went after the Slayer. To confirm his suspicions, Rack met his end when Willow (as Dark Willow) siphoned all the power from Rack’s body and absorbed it for herself.
Jacob Hale, Jr. (Sons of Anarchy)
Kober's Jacob Was A Corrupt Villain Who Went Up Against SAMCRO
Yellowstone creator Taylor Sheridan played the ill-fated Sons of Anarchy character, David Hale, younger brother of Kober's Jacob Hale, Jr.
Throughout seasons 3 and 4, the Sons of Anarchy hinder the villain's plans at every turn. Jacob becomes desperate as he makes his bid for the mayoral seat, going so far as to hire a thug to rough up the elderly Lumpy who refuses to sell his business so that Jacob can build a luxury homes complex.
Despite their rivalry, SAMCO and Jacob eventually form a tentative alliance after Jacob becomes the mayor of Charming in season 5. In exchange for leasing property to start an escort service, Jax agrees to blackmail one of Jacob’s rivals and help find him an investor for his Charming Heights project.
Joe (The Walking Dead)
The Villainous Leader Of The Claimers
Jeff Kober proved his aptitude for villainous roles while playing Joe in season 4 of The Walking Dead, the leader of a group called the Claimers. His sadistic and violent nature made him a formidable foe of Rick Grimes and company, rivaled only by the later arrival of Negan in season 6. He first appeared in season 4, episode 11, “Claimed,” when he and his group found Rick, Michonne, and Carl living in an abandoned house. When Rick kills a member of the group named Lou, Joe vows to kill Rick as revenge.
Later running into Daryl, Joe recruits him into his ranks. He tells Daryl the rules of the group, including that “claiming” whatever they want makes it theirs. When the Claimers catch up to Rick, Carl, and Michonne, Joe goes to shoot Rick but is stopped by Daryl. As punishment, Joe orders his followers to beat Daryl to death, then rape Michonne and Carl. Thankfully, Rick and his allies manage to get the upper hand, killing Joe and the Claimers before continuing on their way.
