Who's in the Kansas City Chiefs Ring of Honor?

The Kansas City Chiefs entered the football universe in 1960 when they were the Dallas Texans. In 1963, the franchise moved to Kansas City and the Chiefs were born.

Since their inception in 1960, the Chiefs have been fortunate to have some incredible players suiting up for them and making big plays. Only the best of the best have been enshrined in the Ring of Honor, or Hall of Honor, which is reserved for the legendary players who donned the red and yellow.

Below are the players inducted into the Chiefs Ring of Honor along with how many years they spent with the organization, their position or title, and the year they were inducted into the Ring of Honor.

Current Chiefs who could one day see themselves in the Ring of Honor

Patrick Mahomes

I don't think much explaining needs to be done here. Patrick Mahomes is the best quarterback in the NFL, has three Super Bowl rings, and two MVP trophies. He'll be enshrined in the Ring of Honor as soon as he decides to retire.

Travis Kelce

This is another no-brainer. Travis Kelce has spent the entirety of his 10+ year career in Kansas City and has blossomed into a superstar. No one thought we'd see a better Chiefs tight end than Tony Gonzalez but Kelce proved otherwise.

Chris Jones

Even if Chris Jones hadn't re-signed with the Chiefs in the 2024 offseason, he'd still be a lock to make it to the Ring of Honor after he retires. He was as clutch as could be in the playoffs and Super Bowl and is one of the few players who was a part of all three Super Bowl wins.

Andy Reid

The Chiefs were an organization on the rocks before Andy Reid came to town. They're anything but that now. Under Reid, the Chiefs have missed the playoffs just once and have yet to have a losing record. He changed the culture of Chiefs football and is going to be an easy inclusion for the Ring of Honor when his coaching days are up.

Brett Veach

General managers aren't the sexiest pick to include in the Ring of Honor but Brett Veach has done more than enough to justify being included in it someday down the road. He's responsible for building the teams that went on to win three Super Bowls and deserves his moment in the spotlight.
