The RHOBH alum detailed how she designed an incredible area of her Texas home with her granddaughter, Khai, in mind.
When Yolanda Hadid shared the details of the "industrial" Texas home she shares with fiancé Joseph Jingoli in August, we were enthralled with its spacious layout and gorgeous details. More recently, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum revealed another compelling element to the abode: a room designed specifically for her granddaughter.
"My bunk bedroom design was inspired by my granddaughter Khai," Yolanda captioned a November 6 Instagram post that detailed the inspiration and thought process behind the room. "[H]er presence has given me so much inspiration, truly the greatest blessing and honor in my life. You think you know about love at this stage and then you become a oma."
Yolanda went on to explain how she configured a "story" around some "amazing Beddings from Pendleton Woolen Mills" and "upholstered the little headboards with a faux sheep skin for softness and texture." As you can see in the photos in the Instagram carousel of images, Yolanda constructed three bunk beds in one room with a set of stairs between the dark gray nooks with wood panel accent walls. She also outfitted the beds with Western-themed bedding and created an adorable space below one of the bunks with a vanity and more storage places.
