The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member and her BFF had an amazing time on their vacation.
Kyle Richards and her BFF Morgan Wade appeared to have an amazing time during their recent trip to South Africa. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member and her country music singer friend took a trip overseas where they went on safari, hung out with wild animals, and got in some major relaxation time.
The trip coincided with Morgan's performance at the Cape Town Country Festival in Cape Town, South Africa, on Sunday, October 27. But prior to that, she and Kyle went on safari, which Kyle captured on her Instagram Story for all of her followers to see.
Kyle took to Instagram over the weekend, where she posted a group photo with Morgan, Morgan's manager Mary Sparr, another friend, and their tour guides. The group can be seen wearing their neutral colored clothing, smiling for the camera, after just bearing witness to some amazing animals, including lions, elephants, rhinos, bison, and cheetahs. Oh my!
"Best guide & tracker ever!" Kyle wrote over the sweet photo.
"Not only did we see the Big 5 but the Super 7. [Thank] you Oupa and Emanuel," she added, referring to the wild animals and tagging Lion Sands Game Reserve, a safari experience and luxury lodge located in Kruger National Park.
Photos of Kyle Richards and Morgan Wade's South African Safari
Kyle had taken to her Instagram Story last week, where she posted a series of photos and videos taken early on in the trip. Kyle snapped many photos of the giraffes and elephants that she saw on her safari throughout Kruger National Park, alongside Mary, who sat in the backseat of their caravan.
"I'm on a safari!" Kyle wrote over the photo of her and Mary.
Kyle also snapped a photo of her lodging at Lion Sands Game Reserve, hanging out in the caravan with the tour guide in the driver's seat, and hugging Mary with their feet planted firmly on the ground. Morgan, however, was missing from these shots.
Morgan took to her own Instagram Story two days later where she explained her absence from Kyle and Mary's original safari. The "Obsessed" singer posted a photo of her, wearing a hoodie, wrapped up in a blanket, giving a thumbs-up to the camera, while sipping water from a water bottle.
"[Malaria] pills kept me down for a whole day, but I'm not missing a [lion] this time," she wrote over the photo.
But Morgan finally got her wish when she posted a very clear photo of a majestic-looking lion hanging out in the brush right after. Clearly, this was very important to Morgan.
Kyle Richards' new comments going to Morgan Wade's concerts
This isn't the first time that Kyle has tagged along with Morgan to one of her concerts. In an interview with Us Weekly on October 6, Kyle revealed that people "get excited" when they see her at a concert, supporting her friend, which can lead to speculation on their friendship.
"[Morgan] was not being used to being in the public eye, so I felt bad she was going through that," Kyle said. "It's quieted down for sure, but I was at a music festival where she was playing, and it was like, 'Oh my God! Kyle's backstage!' They get excited. I tune it out."
