Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Tee Higgins is widely regarded as one of the top free agents this offseason with some publications declaring him the top player on the market.

Bengals Star Tee Higgins Posts Cryptic Message Ahead of NFL Free Agency

The former second-round pick out of Clemson in 2020 has accumulated 330 receptions for 4,595 yards and 34 touchdowns in five seasons with Cincinnati. This season he caught a career-high 10 touchdowns despite playing in only 12 games due to injury.

Higgins will become an unrestricted free agent at noon on March 10 when the new league year begins if he and the Bengals don't come to a deal before then.

With free agency looming just weeks away, Higgins took to Instagram on Thursday, posting a cryptic message among a series of workout photos. The post, captioned "5 just out here working", featured a slide that read, "Priorities are rare, options are everywhere."

Higgins played this past season under the franchise tag, which earned him $21.816 million, but he's now looking for a long-term deal.

The Bengals have a massive decision to make as there will be plenty of suitors for Higgins, the clear top wide receiver available in free agency this offseason.

Quarterback Joe Burrow has been vocal about wanting the team to keep Higgins. However, star receiver Ja'Marr Chase is also in need of an extension after leading the league in receptions (127), receiving yards (1,708) and receiving touchdowns (17) this season.

He is arguably the best wide receiver in the NFL and will require a massive contract before or when he becomes a free agent next season.

Defensive end Trey Hendrickson is also a free agent next season after he led the league with 17.5 sacks in 2024.
