After their 6-2 loss to the Philadelphia Flyers on Sunday, one bright spot pointed out by Spencer Carbery was the play of Andrew Cristall who had a goal in the loss. Via Mike Vogel of WashCaps.com:
"He was probably our brightest spot on the night. Around the puck all night; it sort of seems to follow him around. He had a bunch of good opportunities that he was able to create, and he scores a goal. So yeah, I thought he was very noticeable. "
- Spencer Carbery
Cristall before that had a missed opportunity but redeemed himself later on.
"I thought five hole was kind of the move there. Maybe I didn't pull it far enough to my backhand, and it got caught up in his skate. But don't hate the move; it just sometimes doesn't go in."
- Andrew Cristall
Cristall would add about his goal, "It feels good. Feels like I should have had a couple more, but a really great feeling, and a really good pass, and pretty fortunate it went in."
Alex Limoges who's a native of Winchester, VA had some family in the stands at the game. He spoke about the vibes stepping out on NHL ice.
"A lot of fun. I don't know the count for sure, but a lot of family showed up, which is special to me. It's always fun. I was wearing that Little Caps jersey for so long in my life, and now, the real Caps. It was definitely a lot of fun to be out there and play in front of them. Hopefully, I can do that a little more this year.""
