Brittany Cartwright is stepping toward a single-girl summer amid her separation from her estranged husband Jax Taylor.
The Valley star, 35, was spotted out with a friend in Los Angeles on Saturday, June 1, wearing a bright green PrettyLittleThing ribbed scoop neck unitard but no wedding ring on her left ring finger.
The sighting of Cartwright's bare finger comes a week after Taylor, 44, was photographed having a three-hour lunch in L.A. with Paige Woolen at the Granville Cafe on May 25.
Taylor and Cartwright — who share son Cruz Michael Cauchi, 3 — announced their separation in February after four years of marriage.
"Jax and I are taking time apart, and I made the decision to move into another home to take some space for the sake of my mental health," Cartwright said on the estranged couple's podcast, When Reality Hits, as she announced the separation.
After being photographed with Woolen, Taylor wrote that he was "not dating anyone" in a statement on X (formerly Twitter) on Thursday, May 30.
On the May 31 episode of When Reality Hits, Taylor, who recorded the episode solo, told listeners that he and Cartwright have both agreed that dating other people "is okay" as they are trying to exhaust all options before officially divorcing.
"We have a couple of rules with it, but this is what we are exploring," he said.
Cartwright and Taylor attended the 2024 White House Correspondents’ Dinner on April 27 in Washington, D.C., as guests of the Daily Mail, although they were not at the event together.
“We’re friendly,” Cartwright told PEOPLE exclusively at the event, using the metaphor of “same hotel, different rooms" to describe their dynamic.
“That’s really all I want to say about him," she added at the time.
