Sean Payton and the Denver Broncos are scheduled to take on the Cleveland Browns at Empower Field at Mile High Stadium on Monday Night Football at 8:15 p.m. ET this week in a game that could ultimately determine whether the Broncos stay in the driver's seat for a playoff spot or not.
The Broncos have been led by rookie quarterback Bo Nix, who ranks 14th in the NFL in passing, just behind Bears rookie Caleb Williams.
On Friday Nix's response when asked about his injury status for the Browns game was revealed with a four-word statement that revealed his intentions.
"I'm good to go," Nix said matter-of-factly. "Ready to roll."
Nix was a full participant in Friday's Broncos practice. He did not miss any time during his team's win over the Raiders last Sunday but he did grab his lower back after making a throw amid pressure from defensive end Maxx Crosby.
Nix wore a wrap around his back after a touchdown pass to Courtland Sutton in the second half.
The Browns are six-point favorites heading into the contest with Nix expected to face off against backup quarterback Jameis Winston.
