Of course, the No. 1 priority could be quarterback after news broke that Deshaun Watson tore his Achilles again, putting his 2025 season in jeopardy.
Holding the No. 2 overall pick this April, the Browns could find a quarterback in either Miami's Cam Ward or Colorado's Shedeur Sanders. The Titans will pick No. 1 and are also expected to pick a signal caller.
But the Browns' plan could be in trouble, as Shannon Sharpe - a good friend of Sanders' father and coach, Deion "Coach Prime Sanders - says he doesn't think Shedeur will play in Cleveland.
Speaking on 'The Nightcap' podcast, Sharpe said, "I don't think Prime wants Shedeur to go there. I do not."
This is all a moot point if the Titans select Shedeur, but rumors are also floating that Coach Prime doesn't want his kid in Tennessee too. We could have a bonafide repeat of the John Elway or Eli Manning draft sagas, and that's not good for the league.
There are also rumblings that Cleveland will go with a non-quarterback at No. 2, also making all of this moot. If that's the case, the team would most likely find a quarterback for 2025 on the free-agent market, and find someone with some experience.
