Browns season prediction: After Myles Garrett, which Browns defender has the most sacks?

The impressive season that DE Myles Garrett had for the Cleveland Browns last year was helped by the additions made to the defensive line. Garrett won Defensive Player of the Year, multiple versions, is in a tier by himself off the edge and made plays when it mattered the most.

Unsurprisingly, Garrett led the Browns in sacks last year with 14. Despite the quality additions to the defensive line, no other defender had six or more. DEs Za’Darius Smith (5.5) and Alex Wright (5.0) were the only ones to even get to five.

Along with Smith, new additions Ogbo Okoronkwo (4.5) and Dalvin Tomlinson (3.0) chipped in with LB Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah (3.5) the only other defender with three or more sacks.

Going into 2024, it is fair to assume one of those five players will be second on Cleveland’s sack list. Rookie DT Michael Hall Jr. and free agent addition DT Quinton Jefferson, who had six sacks last season with the New York Jets, could also enter the discussion.
