Cowboys’ Jerry Jones and Micah Parsons Meet Secretly Amid Contract Dispute: Fish Video

Dallas Cowboys newsmakers Jerry Jones and Micah Parsons were both absent from the Thursday camp workout in Oxnard.

But they were together the night before.

Are Jerry and Micah back to ironing out the details of his new contract?

Our pal Shan Shariff of 105.3 The Fan is now reporting that Jerry and Micah “met for over four hours (Wednesday) night. It seems conversations have started (again.)’’

Shariff adds that agent David Mulugheta was not physically present for the lengthy session, a suggestion that Micah’s rep may have been on the phone at some point.

We do know that Parsons is still at camp (he would incur a $50,000 per day fine if he were to leave now) … and we do know that while Micah’s “trade-me’’ demand was real … his love of the star is real, too.

Of course, a trade could have in theory been part of the four-hour meeting, too.

But …

In the end, we’ve always believed that the Cowboys would bend to make Parsons the highest-paid non-QB in NFL history, at over $40 million APY. And this seems like a step in that direction.
