Cowboys Provide Significant Injury Update on Micah Parsons After Going Through Concussion Protocol

The NFL's Week 4 'Thursday Night Football' game is between the Dallas Cowboys and New York Giants as they each look to work their way back up the NFC East standings.

Both teams got off to a solid start offensively, though the Cowboys saw the end zone first. Unfortunately for the Cowboys, defensive star Micah Parsons went into the blue tent to be evaluated for a concussion after taking a rough hit in the second quarter.

Fortunately, it appears the Cowboys dodged a bullet as the team announced that he does have a neck injury, but will return to action against the Giants.

This is a huge break for the Cowboys as Parsons is one of the best defensive players in the league. Having to play the rest of the game without him would be a very difficult task for their defense that has already struggled this season.

Hopefully the neck injury doesn't turn into something worse after the game, or become worse throughout the course of the game.
