Dak Prescott Gets Honest About Missing CeeDee Lamb At OTAs

The Dallas Cowboys were one of the best regular-season teams in the NFL last year.

They were dominant on both sides of the ball, making them one of the most dangerous teams in the league.

Although they fell short of their goals in the playoffs, it was made clear that the Cowboys have the right pieces in place to compete moving forward.

One of their best players is CeeDee Lamb, who is commonly viewed as a top-10 receiver in the league.

Lamb has continued to be Dak Prescott’s top target in this offense.

Despite his dominance and Prescott’s continued reliance on him in the passing game, the Cowboys have yet to sign him to a contract extension.

Lamb hasn’t been around for team OTAs due to this contract dispute, which got Prescott talking, as Jon Machota called out in a recent tweet.

Regarding Lamb’s absence, Prescott said, “So obviously you’re gonna miss him, miss having him around. But I’ve been in this situation, it’s business, business is business. He’s got my support, and I know the locker room’s support.”

Prescott seems to be standing behind Lamb and his decision not to attend OTAs, noting he’s been in that position before.

He and the rest of his offensive counterparts certainly miss having Lamb around, but at this point in the offseason, he doesn’t necessarily need to be there.

It will be interesting to see how the Cowboys handle this situation, and when Lamb will end up signing this supposedly massive extension to stay with the team.
