The Detroit Lions made Ohio State defensive lineman Tyleik Williams their first round pick in the 2025 NFL draft, following the selection up with the choice of an offensive lineman, Tate Ratledge of Georgia, in round number two.
The Lions' offensive line took several hits on the injury front last season as coach Dan Campbell and now-departed offensive coordinator Ben Johnson did their best to patch up the holes in Detroit's offensive ship.
One of the chief subs for the Lions along the front of the offensive line is Graham Glasgow, the former Michigan Wolverines star who can play multiple positions and often starts for the Lions.
Recently, fans began calling for a change to new coordinator John Morton's unit after the selection of Ratledge.

The X page for Pro Football Focus shared a possible starting five for the Detroit Lions' offensive line and fellow super sub Christian Mahogany was absent.
Lions fans called for Mahogany to be slotted in instead of Glasgow alongside Ratledge in a revamped offensive line. Magohany impressed during the Lions' late season division championship run in 2024.

"Unfortunately you didn't get it right," one fan said.
"Mahogany over Glasgow come on now," another added.
"Mahogany > Glasgow," another said. "Even though Glasgow is better at RG than LG."
Many fans expressed excitement over the possibilities along the offensive line with the addition of the former Georgia star Ratledge.
"Massive steal," one fan said. "Tate Big Country is better than some of the 1st round OL. He's nasty and plays with an attitude like Sewell."
