Does Erika Jayne Think She Will Get Married Again After Tom Girardi?

Erika Jayne had quite the divorce experience, what with Tom Girardi’s legal woes. She probably was hoping to keep legal proceedings to family court, if necessary, and not get sucked into all of her ex-husband’s allegations of fraud.

But after enduring such a separation, Erika has come out the victor. She’s rebuilding her career, and living and supporting herself solo. And during a recent conversation with Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum Teddi Mellencamp, Erika revealed whether she would ever consider marriage again.

“There’s a price to pay,” Erika Jayne said of relationships

Erika joined the Two T’s In A Pod podcast host to comment on the recent episode of Real Housewives of Orange County. The Pretty Mess singer observed that all the RHOC ladies “have a man,” compared to the “all single” cast of RHOBH.

Erika praised herself for starting “the separation streak.” She claimed that there is “no hope” for her because she is decidedly “never going back” to dating.

Teddi asked her guest if a serious relationship or marriage was something Erika was hoping for in her future.

“I don’t think so,” she answered. “I don’t feel that that’s where I’m at.”

Ultimately, Erika wants to expand on her potential. She feels that a man would hold her back from self-actualizing.

“I have a lot of work to do and I really just want to be successful on my own. I have, for the first time, my own thing,” Erika explained. “For real, for real. And being a grown-up, you know? Like this isn’t being 20 and being married to your husband and having a child…this is Erika out on her own doing it, and it feels good.”

“I want to see what else I can do because, if you’re involved with a man, and certainly with a powerful man, there’s a price to pay. First off, any man,” the Bravolebrity shared. “Nothing is free in this world. And you know, the more powerful, the more wealthy, the more price.”

Certainly, there is some comfort for Erika to be living alone and maintaining her LA bungalow herself. Living “under someone’s finger” is a “horrible” feeling that she experienced in her previous marriage.

“I revolt…my personality changes,” Erika said of being in such a relationship.

Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is currently streaming on Peacock.
