It's time for the Green Bay Packers to make a blockbuster deal to get Jordan Love a franchise-wide receiver. The team has been searching for one over the past few years, and one might be available in the form of Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill.
Miami has an interesting decision to make over the next few weeks to months on the future of their All-Pro wide receiver, with many fans wanting him traded.
While it could make sense in the short and long term if things go as planned for the Dolphins, Hill is one of the better wide receivers in the NFL, and losing him could be drastic if the Dolphins don't properly replace him.
Despite that reality, he could be dealt.
Last Word on Sports proposed a deal for him to join the Green Bay Packers, citing the trade rumors the 31-year-old has been in over the past few weeks.
“The Green Bay Packers are quietly building something with Jordan Love under the center. Adding Hill to an emerging offense, especially alongside former teammate Mecole Hardman, could give the Green Bay Packers the kind of game-changing speed they’ve lacked in recent years,” Liam Rebellato wrote.
If the Packers are willing to move on from a second or third-round pick for Hill, the Dolphins need to consider it.
However, there could be a scenario where a team doesn't want to take on his money, meaning the return won't be where the Dolphins want or need it to be.
The Dolphins are in a weird position regarding his future on the team, but if they want to compete next year, it might be worth keeping him around for at least one more season.
