It takes a lot for Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver A.J. Brown to open up to any media, and he finally did about his relationship with quarterback Jalen Hurts.
During an appearance on Million Dollaz Worth of Game Brown admitted that he and Hurts do indeed bump heads.
"I'd be lying to tell you we never had any issues," Brown said. "We're two alphas who want to be the best, and demand greatness from each other and everyone around us. Some reports are true, some aren't. But me and him are good, man. We just wanna be great. And sometimes we bump heads, but that's normal."
While Brown confirmed that some of the tension reports between him and his QB were true, he wanted to acknowledge that their relationship is far from Donovan McNabb and Terrell Owen's turbulent relationship.
"Don't nobody sweat it... It's normal," Brown said. "But with the history of this team, with [Donovan] McNabb and T.O. [Terrell Owens], everything is magnified times ten, but that's not the case."
The important takeaway is that despite what was or is happening behind the scenes, Brown and Hurts know to put their differences aside and were able to bring home a Lombardi trophy by taking down the Kansas City Chiefs 40-22 in Super Bowl LIX.
And Brown, who missed four games due to injuries, still finished the season as the Eagles' top receiver, hauling in 67 catches for 1,079 yards and seven touchdowns.
