Despite missing Anthony Davis with an injury, Klay Thompson and the Dallas Mavericks had won four of their last five games. Davis, who was acquired from the Los Angeles Lakers as part of the Luka Doncic trade, suffered an adductor strain in his Mavericks debut on Feb. 8.
On Sunday, the Mavericks were back in action, facing Thompson's former team, the Golden State Warriors. The Warriors also made a big deal at the deadline, acquiring Jimmy Butler from the Miami Heat and creating a new trio with Steph Curry and Draymond Green.
With Davis unable to play at Chase Center on Sunday, the Warriors were able to make light work of the Mavericks, walking away with a 126-102 win. Curry had another strong night, finishing with 30 points and seven assists.
With just under three minutes remaining in the third quarter, Curry hit a stepback three over P.J. Washington in front of the Mavericks bench. He proceeded to hit his classic "night-night" celebration as he ran down the court.

NBA fans were quick to notice that Thompson could be seen in the background during Curry's celebration, not showing his former teammate any attention. They took to social media to leave their thoughts.
"Klay Thompson on the bench,' one fan said.
"Klay knew better than to look Steph was on timing," added another.
"Klay not reacting is smoking me LMAO..." wrote a third.
"klays refusal to have any reaction is funny," commented a fourth.
"Klay sitting there like 'if I don't look he can't hurt me,'" posted a fifth.
"Klay lol not even a glimpse," said another.
Thompson finished the game with 11 points on 3-of-8 shooting, two rebounds, two assists and two steals. He is now 2-2 against his former team.
The Mavericks now fall to 31-27 on the season, with a battle against the Los Angeles Lakers coming up on Tuesday night. The Warriors, on the other hand, have moved to 5-1 in the Butler era and 30-27 overall.
