Jordan Love's status remains up in the air for Week 4, although all indications seem to point toward his return. However, the Green Bay Packers face new injury problems ahead of their crucial divisional showdown with the Minnesota Vikings.
Unsurprisingly, the Packers have listed Love as questionable for the third week in a row. They will keep Minnesota guessing until game time, although Vikings head coach Kevin O'Connell believes Love will play.
The greater concern comes at cornerback. Green Bay could enter a matchup against Justin Jefferson and Jordan Addison without Jaire Alexander and Carrington Valentine, who both missed practice on Friday. Alexander is questionable, while Valentine is doubtful and therefore unlikely to play.
Alexander and Valentine were limited at practice earlier in the week but didn't practice on Friday, which is always concerning.

Packers injury report creates new concerns for Week 4
The Packers haven't made an official commitment to Love's status for Week 4. While many reporters seem to think he will play, that hasn't been confirmed. Even if Love is able to go, the defense faces a potential concern this week.
It's never a good time to lose two cornerbacks. It's especially bad timing when Justin Jefferson is next on the schedule.
The Packers need a good plan to limit Jefferson, one that likely included Alexander. With Valentine doubtful, Alexander's status is key. If he is unable to go, Green Bay will likely lean on Corey Ballentine to take the starting reps alongside Eric Stokes.
It's a tough spot for defensive coordinator Jeff Hafley.
Hopefully, Alexander is cleared to play, but going from limited practice to not participating is rarely a good sign. The only hope is that Green Bay gave him a rest day to recover from the quad issue that had limited him earlier in the week.
Time will tell. It's concerning ahead of such an important game and restarts conversations about whether the Packers should've added more cornerback depth in the offseason.
