Plenty of former Cincinnati Bengals players have been in the news this offseason around free agency and the draft.
The latest comes in the form of former running back Chris Evans.
Evans, a sixth-round pick by the Bengals in 2021, will get a tryout and attempt to resume his NFL career with the Denver Broncos.
A key depth piece for the Bengals over the last few seasons, Evans suffered a ruptured patellar tendon in 2024 and missed last year. Now, he gets a chance to continue his pro career with the same Denver team that gave fellow former Bengals running back Samaje Perine a chance in 2023.
Speaking of Perine, he's back in Cincinnati now after stops in Denver and Kansas City to team with Zack Moss in a rotation behind the centerpiece of the depth chart at the position, Chase Brown.
