He spent all of his training camp with the Steelers, but was released at the end of the process. Following that, the Steelers opted to not bring Fitzpatrick back, and he instead joined the Chargers. This is Fitzpatrick’s seventh NFL game overall.

Fitzpatrick was drafted out of Louisville in the fourth round of the 2021 NFL Draft by the Tennessee Titans. However, his stint in Tennessee soured quickly, and the team moved on after just two seasons. That is when the Steelers signed him to a future’s contract after the 2022 season, and he earned his way onto the practice squad.

The Pontiac, Michigan, native ran a 4.47 40-yard dash and stands at 6-foot-1. As a bigger receiver, he plays mostly outside but provides plenty of special teams upside that could get him into another locker room before the end of the season.
