These days, one could make an argument that George Kittle of the San Francisco 49ers is the best tight end in the NFL, especially since the Kansas City Chiefs' Travis Kelce has declined a bit over the last year or two.
Kittle remains at the top of his individual game at the age of 31, and he recently agreed to a four-year, $76.4 million contract extension with $40 million in guaranteed money. This extension will keep him under contract until 2029, as well as make him the league's highest-paid tight end on a per-season basis.
The six-time Pro Bowler has partnered with Chubbies, a company that makes stylish shorts and swim trunks. In a recent Instagram video that announced his new Chubbies collection, Kittle had a new and curious hairstyle that caught people's attention.
"The chopsticks in the hair 😂 10/10," one user wrote.
"Pure entertainment 🤣🤣🤣," another user wrote.
"The chopsticks are sending me🤣😂," a third user wrote.
"This is too good 👏," another user wrote.
"Bahahahahahaha I love creative director George," a fifth user wrote.
"You’re my guy. Best personality in sports!!" another user replied.
Last season, Kittle caught 78 passes for 1,106 yards and eight touchdowns. He was one of the few constants during a 49ers season in which Murphy's Law seemed to be in full effect.
The team experienced a gnarly rash of injuries to key players in numerous position groups that few teams in recent memory have had to deal with. Coming off a 2023 season in which they came to the brink of winning the Super Bowl championship, they finished 6-11 and missed the playoffs.
San Francisco let a number of starters leave this offseason in free agency, especially on the defensive side of the football. The team is counting on incoming rookies such as defensive end Mykel Williams, the No. 11 pick in last month's draft, to fill the void created by those numerous departures.
But on offense, Kittle will continue to be the security blanket he has been for years, even if he continues to use chopsticks to bind his blond locks together.

It’s kind of wild to think, given the current sorry state of the Dallas Cowboys, that just 2 years ago the team had a 4,500 yard passer (Dak Prescott), 1,000-yard rusher (Tony Pollard) and 1,700 yard wide receiver (CeeDee Lamb). Now, ...
