Green Bay Packers Make Major Jordan Love Announcement

The Green Bay Packers have put together a solid offseason, but it hasn't been anything special.

Entering the NFL offseason, the Packers were expected to have a much more aggressive approach than they have had in years past. So far, they have only brought in three outside players.

Those three players are offensive lineman Aaron Banks, cornerback Nate Hobbs, and wide receiver Mecole Hardman.

Jordan Love is coming off of a good year, but it wasn't great. In the first game of the season, Love went down with an MCL sprain. He looked banged up and suffered another couple of nagging injuries as the season went on.

With that being said, head coach Matt LaFleur announced some major news about Love's health status during a media appearance at the annual league meetings.

As shared by Ryan Wood of the USA Today Network, LaFleur revealed that Love did not need to undergo a knee procedure following the season. While he did not share how much the injury continued impacting the young signal caller, he did say how much he admired Love for powering through the injuries.

In the 15 games he was able to play in 2024, Love completed 63.1% of his pass attempts for 3,389 yards, 25 touchdowns, and 11 interceptions.

Back in February, star running back Josh Jacobs spoke out about Love. He clearly stated that Love is a special talent.

“Special, man," he said. “I don’t think people really know how good he is.”

After a full offseason and getting back to 100 percent health, the hope is that Love can prove Jacobs right in 2025.
