Haason Reddick seems to have picked up where he left off
One of the concerns when a player reports to a team late is that they aren’t going to be up-to-speed when they do show up. This is thought to be because “no amount of training can replicate game reps,” or something to that effect.
No one must have told New York Jets edge rusher Haason Reddick about that though.

Needless to say, this was a great game for Reddick on the pass rushing front, which is what the Jets acquired him to excel at. This is a huge boost to the Jets pass defense, which now has two very productive edge rushers to attack the passer with.
Will McDonald generated a season-high 9 pressures on 33 pass rushes (27.3%), with 6 coming on 15 matchups against left tackle Laremy Tunsil.

Needless to say, that kind of productivity from both edge rushers is something that is going to make quarterbacks very uncomfortable. In a pass rushing league, that is about as good as gold, and if the Jets are able to mount a comeback then it will likely be a big reason why.
