An incredible streak for Aaron Rodgers came to an end on Sunday in his New York Jets’ 10-9 loss at home to the Denver Broncos at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J.

Rodgers went 24-of-42 for 225 yards and rushed for 26 yards in the game, but failed to throw a touchdown pass. That was the first time in the 40-year-old’s career that he did not throw a touchdown pass during a home game in which he played the entire contest.

Prior to Sunday, you could pretty much guarantee that Rodgers would give you six in a home game, but he didn’t do that against Denver. The conditions were wet, but Rodgers still said his passes weren’t where they should have been.

“I can’t say I had a spectacular game. The weather sucked, but so did some of my throws,” Rodgers said after the game.

Rodgers acknowledged that the loss was on the Jets offense. He said that teams should win every game in which their opponent is held to 10 points.

The Jets are now 2-2.
