The Cincinnati Bengals wrapped up the 2024 NFL season against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Saturday night.

Ja'Marr Chase Leaves Two-Word Message on Joe Burrow's Post

Despite picking up the 19-17 win, the Bengals fell one game short of making the playoffs. The Bengals started the season 0-3 and even fell to 4-8 before ripping off five straight wins to finish the year 9-8. It was simply too much of an uphill climb to overcome.

On Monday, with the offseason officially underway for the Bengals, star quarterback Joe Burrow took to social media to make a post.

Burrow had a season to remember, leading the league in passing yards (4,918) and touchdown passes (43).

The fifth-year veteran shared a series of photos from the season, captioning the post: "Season to remember. I'm sorry you won’t get to watch anymore. Year 5 in the books."

Shortly after making the post, Burrow's right-hand man and primary pass catcher Ja'Marr Chase left a comment.

“MVP LOADING,” Chase wrote, making his case for Burrow to win the MVP award.

Burrow currently holds the third-best odds to win MVP at +1400, per DraftKings Sportsbook, but he’s a long shot. Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen leads the race at -230, followed by Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson at +185.

Regardless, Burrow and Chase are arguably the best quarterback-wide receiver duo in the NFL, and that was on full display this season. Their chemistry goes way back to their college days at LSU, and they’ve carried that connection into five seasons together with the Bengals.

Chase also capped off a memorable season, securing the rare receiving triple crown—leading the league in receptions (127), receiving yards (1,708) and touchdown catches (17). The last time that feat was achieved was back in 2021, and before that, in 2005.
