Ja'Marr Chase Recruits Justin Jefferson To Scariest Receiver Corps in NFL

Ja'Marr Chase has been making attempts to recruit one of the best players in the NFL to come to the Cincinnati Bengals.

The Cincinnati Bengals already have one of the best offensive players in the NFL in Ja'Marr Chase. But the star is trying to make his team's receiver corps one of the best in recent memory.

Chase was recently streaming and playing Call of Duty with Minnesota Vikings superstar Justin Jefferson, and the Bengals' franchise player kept trying to recruit his former LSU teammate to come to Cincinnati.

""Hey, chat, I could get Justin to come to the Bengals, y'all," Chase said via NFL aggregator Dov Kleiman. Jefferson did not respond to the comment and continued to focus more on the video game.

Chase, Jefferson, and Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow were all at LSU at the same time, and won a national championship together in 2019. They dominated opponents, and are considered one of the best college football teams of all time.

On the surface, one might think that there would not be enough targets to go around, but the two receiver's college stats prove otherwise. In the 2019 season, Chase finished with 1,780 and 20 touchdowns, while Jefferson had 1,540 and 18 touchdowns.

If there is a quarterback who could make having two superstar receivers work, it would be the guy who threw to both of them in college. Burrow also finished the 2024 season with his most passing yards in a season with just over 4,900 yards, so it is safe to say he is on his game.

It might be wishful thinking to say that the Bengals have a chance to get Jefferson, and it would be hassle to pay him. But if they were to get him, they would have one of the best receiver corps of all time.
