Joey Graziadei and Kelsey Anderson have finally decided where they'll live

The Bachelor alum Joey Graziadei has revealed where he and Kelsey Anderson are going to live once his stint on Dancing with the Stars comes to an end.

Joey and Kelsey have been living in Los Angeles, CA, for Joey's run on Dancing with the Stars' 33rd season, but Kelsey has said on numerous occasions that it's her dream to live in New York City.

While Kelsey would love to move and explore the Big Apple with her fiance, Joey confirmed during a recent appearance on the "Lightweights" podcast that they're going to stay in California.

"I'm excited to see what's going to possibly [be] next for me," Joey shared. "I'm really excited, we've decided to stay in L.A."

Joey added, "I'm excited to build a home together. We got an apartment. I cannot wait to make it feel like something that's really ours."

Kelsey is therefore willing to compromise and make a sacrifice for her man, who is apparently getting his way.

Kelsey -- who had accepted Joey's marriage proposal on The Bachelor's Season 28 finale, which aired in March -- previously opened up about how she and Joey were going back and forth between California and New York when talking about where to live post-Dancing with the Stars.

"I love New York... I've always just been drawn to it, and I talked about New York to Joey on [The Bachelor] -- about how I've always wanted to live there one day. I've always wanted to live there," Kelsey said on The Bachelorette alum Jason Tartick's "Trading Secrets" podcast last month.

Kelsey pointed out, however, how Joey loves tennis, golf and surfing.

"He loves that Hawaii lifestyle and being outdoors, and New York doesn't really give that to him," Kelsey explained at the time.

"So we're thinking about both options, but I think we're probably leaning more towards L.A. right now. I am trying to give it a chance and see how I like it, but I know that Joey would be a lot happier here."

Kelsey therefore acknowledged that she was definitely taking Joey's feelings and desires "into consideration."

"I can't just be like, 'You're coming to New York!' Because I know he would, if I really was set on it," Kelsey noted.

"I want him to be happy too, and so far, I like L.A. So we'll see! [I'd like it] especially if we're close to the beach, because I love the beach!"

Since New York remains Kelsey's dream, The Bachelor winner shared, "Joey was like, 'Let's go every month for a week to New York.' He's like, 'I still want you to get that taste of New York.'"

"So we'll see how we figure it out and how we navigate doing both," she said, adding how it would be "hard" to make that work since flights are a couple hours and there's a time difference.

But Kelsey, a former project manager from New Orleans, shared how she and Joey were making good money and have a lot of support from family and friends in L.A.

Joey and Kelsey apparently reached an agreement on where to live around their one-year anniversary of getting engaged.

"Happy One-Year Anniversary to My Everything... I still cannot believe that it has been a year since I got down on one knee and asked you to marry me," Joey wrote via Instagram last week.

"This is another appreciation post for everything you do. The laughs, the love, the support, the joy and the excitement. Every day with you is an adventure and I cannot wait to see all of the memories we get to create in the years to come."

Joey shared a carousel of photos that featured the lovebirds posing backstage, with Joey rocking a variety of costumes, at Dancing with the Stars.

"I know sitting and anxiously watching me dance on live TV probably wasn't how you thought we'd spend our first anniversary, but I can't tell you enough how much I appreciate your support," Joey continued in his post.

"I couldn't do this without you, so thank you for always being my biggest fan through this amazing experience. I love you forever."

Kelsey also posted a sweet tribute to Joey on her own Instagram account about their first year together.

"One year of laughter, learning and lots of love. Can't wait to do it again with you!" Kelsey wrote.

"Happy anniversary to the man of my dreams. A man who is patient, kind, and always gives 1000% in everything he does. I'm so grateful for your love, your support, and the way you make every day brighter. I love you Joey."

In a recent TikTok video, Kelsey insisted that if she and Joey can survive The Bachelor process, she can certainly deal with him dancing with an attractive woman, Jenna Johnson, on Dancing with the Stars.

"I am very proud of Joey," Kelsey concluded.
