Justin Fields Shows Off New Life Look in Jets Viral Video

The former Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback is hoping he can start fresh now that he is with New York.

The Pittsburgh Steelers traded for young quarterback Justin Fields last offseason, as the Chicago Bears were ready to move on.

But he decided to move on to a new phase of his career after just one season with the team.

Fields agreed to a two-year, $40 million contract with the New York Jets earlier this offseason, and he has gotten right to work. A new video has surfaced of his throwing mechanics and footwork, and some are saying he looks like a totally different player.

This is something that pains the Steelers to see, as their current starting quarterback is Mason Rudolph. They have tried to get veteran QB Aaron Rodgers in free agency, but the 41-year-old has shown no intention of making a decision on his future anytime soon.

So the Jets went from an aging Rodgers who could very well retire this offseason, to a 26-year-old Fields who is looking for a new lease on life with his new team. Meanwhile, the Steelers have gone from having two solid quarterback options to having a bit of a question mark at the position.

Many have had questions about Fields' decision-making in the past, and that is the number one thing he will go into the 2025 season looking to show that he has vastly improved.

The Steelers will make due with the quarterbacks they have if Rodgers does not come to Pittsburgh, but it does hurt them a bit to see their former field general doing well for himself so early in his time in New York.
