Kevin Durant Hilariously Calls Out Kay Adams Over Dak Prescott Statement

The Dallas Cowboys recently received some brutal news on the Dak Prescott front. This is after the three-time Pro Bowl quarterback was diagnosed with a hamstring injury that will reportedly cost him "an extended period of time" on the sidelines. So much so that there has been talk about the Cowboys potentially placing Prescott on injured reserve (IR).

As it turns out, this also comes as a significant blow for Phoenix Suns superstar Kevin Durant and his NFL fantasy team. In a recent interview with Kay Adams on the "Up & Adams" show, the former NBA MVP shared his reaction to Prescott's injury.

"I hate that Dak's out," he said. "I hate when guys go out with injuries for that long. (They) disrupt their season. ... I hope he gets a speedy recovery.

"My fantasy team took a hit for sure."

Adams responded by claiming that Durant never told her about having Prescott as his quarterback on his fantasy team.

"I did tell you that," Durant responded. "Another woman who doesn't listen to me."

Adams laughed off Durant's call-out before questioning the Suns star's treatment of her. It was a hilarious exchange all around.

According to reports, Prescott will be out for at least four weeks, which means that Durant and everybody else who has the former Rookie of the Year on their fantasy roster will need to come up with some sort of contingency plan. It goes without saying that the Cowboys are also facing quite a dilemma at the moment.

As for Durant, the Suns are off to a blistering start to the season. They are currently on a five-game winning streak and are 6-1 on the year. They are tied with the Golden State Warriors, Durant's former team, for the No. 2 spot in the Western Conference.
