Over the weekend the San Francisco 49ers kept their playoff hopes alive with an impressive win over the Chicago Bears.
After getting blown out in back-to-back games by the Green Bay Packers and Buffalo Bills, the 49ers responded with a dominant 38-13 win over the Bears. Star tight end George Kittle knows the 49ers still have a difficult road ahead, but gave themselves a chance at a playoff spot.
"We still have everything in front of us to play for," Kittle said, via ESPN. "I know certain things might need to happen, but if we win every single game, I think we've put ourselves in a very good position to either win the division or somehow sneak our way into playoff contention. ... I definitely think everybody in this building still believes."
Kristin Juszczyk, the wife of 49ers fullback Kyle Juszczyk is hoping Kittle and her husband can recapture the form they found in Week 6 against the Seattle Seahawks when both scored touchdowns en route to a 36-24 win.
"Hey @ClaireKittle let's do it again?" she asked.
During San Francisco's win over Seattle in Week 6, both Kittle and Juszczyk celebrated their touchdowns with their wives, who were sitting at near field level.
The 49ers desperately need a win over the Rams on Thursday night to keep their playoff hopes alive. San Francisco enters the contest two games back of the Seattle Seahawks, who face off against the Green Bay Packers this weekend. A win by the 49ers and loss by the Seahawks would leave the Rams and 49ers just one game back of the NFC West lead.
Los Angeles and San Francisco kick off tonight at 8:15 p.m. ET. The game will be broadcast on Prime Video.
