Kyle Richards was 'terrified' to discuss her 'evolving sexuality' during a serious conversation she had with her four daughters 'months ago' amid rumors she's been quietly dating her best friend since 2022, Morgan Wade.
'It was the most difficult conversation I've ever had with my children and I was terrified to have that conversation. I just wanted to be as honest as I possibly could,' the 55-year-old RHOBH star recalled on Page Six podcast Virtual Reali-Tea on Monday.
'There were stories out there about me and this did make me wonder, you know, and question myself. I really never thought like this before. This is not the way I was raised. That's not the way my mind even operated. And all of a sudden I was thinking like that and I wanted to be as honest with them as possible because they are my best friends.'
Kyle mothered 36-year-old Farrah Aldjufrie with ex-husband Guraish Aldjufrie and she welcomed three more - Alexia Umansky, 28; Sophia Umansky, 24; and Portia Umansky, 15; - with estranged second husband Mauricio Umansky.
'Having that conversation, their reaction and their response to me, honestly, I thought, "Wow, I mean, I'm just so impressed by these four women in front of me,"' Richards gushed.
'And I thought, "Maybe, just maybe, I did do a good job" — because that was my most proud moment as a mom, just seeing how they all reacted.'
The former child star noted that 'the jokes have ensued' since their family discussion: 'I have been teased by some of them, too, which is fine. But it's been great and it's been actually amazing for our relationship, too.'
Kyle and the 29-year-old country crooner - who share matching rings and heart tattoos - were last pictured together taking a casual stroll through Los Angeles on September 16.
Richards stressed that Morgan 'didn't want any part of anything to do with my role with reality television and all that came with it.'
'I am an open book, but I cannot speak to other people's lives of experiences when they have not signed up to do this and don't want to be a part of this,' The Holiday Exchange actress explained.
'So I'm here to speak about my personal journey on. But yes, that wasn't great, you know, having all that, it was just so overwhelming. I think anybody would be overwhelmed in that situation.'
Eyebrows first raised when Wade cast Kyle in her fantastical music video for Fall in Love with Me in August 2023 where they kissed, fed each other, and took a bubble bath.
Just two months later, Kyle legally separated from the 54-year-old real estate mogul after 27 years of marriage, and he's now dating 33-year-old Russian actress Nikita Khan.

'[Mauricio] shows up on the show definitely a number of times. He even shot some with [Paul Kemsley] without even me! I was like, "Oh, I wonder what they're going to be talking about? Oh, this could be scary!"'
The 14th season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills premieres November 19 on Bravo and will stream on Peacock the next day.
Meanwhile, the 2AM in London singer is next scheduled to bring her 23-date Obsessed Tour to the Charleston Music Hall in Charlston, SC this Tuesday.
