Much has been said about Garcelle Beauvais deciding not to return to The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills for season 15. Many understand her reasoning and feel she’s been on the show long enough, but some other fans have different thoughts.
Namely, some believe that she didn’t like being in the hot seat at the reunion and decided to leave the show as a whole for this reason. Now, Vanderpump Rules alum Lala Kent is lending her voice to that line of thinking as she discussed the actress being unable to handle the proverbial heat and leaving the reunion early.
As everyone knows, Garcelle posted a video on social media announcing her departure from RHOBH after five years. In the video, she discussed wanting to spend more time with her kids and needing to focus on her other projects as a producer and actress. Essentially, she said that this was a decision she had been wrestling with for some time.
Recently, Lala took to her Give Them Lala podcast to discuss RHOBH and share her thoughts on Garcelle departing the series. According to the VPR alum, “I don’t think Garcelle has been preparing to quit for a long time because she says, ‘My hope is that we all get a cast photo.'”
Lala added, “Cut to what we know now, Erika says on Watch What Happens Live that Garcelle, at the very end of the reunion, decides to abort mission and doesn’t get a picture with the cast. So, I think that reunion, even though Garcelle said, ‘I want to focus on my kids.’ I’m sure she went home and thought about it, but ultimately, I think for the first time, Garcelle was put on blast, and she could not handle the heat in the kitchen, so she got the fu** out.”
As fans know from part one of the reunion, Garcelle was furious after being confronted again over what she said about Dorit Kemsley‘s robbery.
It was also clear that she was caught off guard and perhaps didn’t think going into the reunion that she would be in the hot seat. She also probably thought that her friend, or maybe now former friend, Sutton Stracke, would be catching more heat for her antics from the season. Still, there’s much to look forward to from the rest of the reunion, including what made Garcelle walk off early.
