One of the Detroit Lions' biggest stars revealed that the Lions were the one team he didn't want to draft him.

The 2021 NFL Draft was a massive success for the Detroit Lions.

Their draft class from that year featured a pair of All-Pros in Amon-Ra St. Brown.

It also included plenty of other players who have contributed over the last few seasons. Derrick Barnes, Levi Onwuzurike, Alim McNeil, and Ifeatu Melifonwu were also selected as part of that class.

It turns out that one of the stars of the class didn't actually want to be selected by the Lions.

In a recent episode of the "St. Brown Podcast", St. Brown revealed the he told his brother the Lions were the one team he didn't want to draft him before he was selected.

"The one team I told my brother, 20 minutes before I got drafted, I said the one team I don't want to go to is Detroit."

While it may not have been what he hoped for at the time, getting drafted by the Lions has worked out pretty well for St. Brown.

Over four years in Detroit he has racked up 430 catches for 4851 yards and 33 touchdowns.

Those numbers have earned him three Pro Bowl appearances and a spot on the All-Pro First Team in each of the last two years.

He also earned himself a four-year contract extension that will pay him just over $120 million to keep him in Detroit until 2028.

The Lions' organization has also improved tremendously since they drafted St. Brown. They won five games the year before he was drafted and three during his rookie season.

Last season the Lions won 15 and have put together a core of players that should keep them in contention for the foreseeable future.

Good thing they spent that fourth-round pick on a receiver who didn't want them to draft him.

Amon-Ra St. Brown Blasts 'Unlimited' Moves by NFL Rival

Ex-USC Trojans star Amon-Ra St. Brown isn't shy about speaking his mind. He uses his podcast platform to call things how he sees it -- including watching a rival pull "unlimited" moves Monday.

The Detroit Lions wide receiver called out the Chicago Bears on the St. Brown Podcast Monday. He watched his former offensive coordinator Ben Johnson help bolster the franchise with aggressive offensive and defensive moves.

St. Brown, however, wasn't mincing words about calling his NFC North rival out.

"Bro I feel like the Bears have unlimited f***ing money. This s*** crazy," St. Brown told his co-host and NFL brother Equanimeous.

St. Brown wasn't through. He continued to vulgarly express his thoughts about the Bears and the free agency signings they pulled out.

"They're just signing new s*** for like $40, 50 million dollars. Joe Thuney, boom. Jonah Jackson, bang. Drew Dalman, bang," he continued. "They have unlimited money. What the f*** is this? Ben (Johnson) just making moves left and right. I'm just like, 'f***.'"

The Bears clearly want to return to prominence. Chicago became a mediocre group under Matt Eberflus. The franchise hasn't played in the NFC title game since the 2010 season. Detroit, a longtime division dormant, has now dominated the NFC North the past two seasons.

St. Brown's former offensive coordinator Johnson became the first move in ushering in a new era of Bears football. He also gets a new former USC star to work with in Caleb Williams. Johnson and the Bears are showing they aren't afraid to spend big during the start of free agency week -- even if it means prompting profanities from his past star wide receiver.
